The extended Leather Luxe wrap provides superior grip comfort and moisture management during extended play sessions.

Built with 30-piece construction methodology, the Predator 10K Black represents Predator’s commitment to precision engineering and durability. The cue is available in multiple weight configurations, allowing you to select the balance that matches your playing style and preferences.

REVO Carbon Fiber Shaft Option

Players seeking a low-deflection shaft can select the REVO Carbon Pool Shaft, available in three diameter options: 11.8mm, 12.4mm, or 12.9mm. The REVO shaft combines carbon fiber composite technology with responsive feedback, offering consistent performance across different playing conditions.

Alternative shaft options include:

• Centro Hybrid Pool Shaft, 12.4mm diameter, blending traditional and modern construction
• 314-3 Spliced Maple Pool Shaft, 12.75mm diameter, for players who prefer traditional wood construction
• Z-3 Spliced Maple Pool Shaft, 11.85mm diameter, offering a lighter wood alternative
• Vantage Spliced Maple Pool Shaft, 12.9mm diameter, for classic wood cue performance

Leather Luxe Wrap and Grip Technology

The extended Leather Luxe wrap delivers exceptional tactile feedback and maintains consistent grip even during intense play. Leather wraps provide superior moisture control compared to synthetic alternatives, ensuring your hand position remains stable throughout longer sessions at the table.

The wrap extends across the hand contact zone, reducing hand fatigue and improving shot accuracy through better cue control. Premium leather construction also ages gracefully, developing a comfortable patina over time while maintaining structural integrity.

Tip Selection and Joint Construction

The Predator 10K Black pairs with your choice of tip hardness levels to match your playing technique and table conditions:

• Predator Victory Hard, Medium, or Soft, engineered for consistent deflection and impact response
• Kamui Black Hard, Medium, Soft, or Super Soft, offering four density options for maximum customization

The Uni-Loc Quick-Release joint ensures secure connections while enabling rapid cue assembly and disassembly. This pinning system has become standard across premium Predator play cues for its reliability and ease of use.

Weight Adjustability and Balance

The Predator 10K Black is available in four weight configurations: 18.5 oz, 19 oz, 19.5 oz, and 20 oz. This range allows you to fine-tune cue balance to your individual stroke mechanics. Lighter weights suit players with faster stroke tempos, while heavier options provide additional momentum for aggressive shot execution.

Classic Design with Premium Materials

The black painted forearm creates a sophisticated appearance that complements any room décor or playing environment. Golden metal ringwork and ivorine accents provide visual contrast while protecting the wood structure at stress points. This design approach has remained popular among serious players for decades, proving its timeless appeal beyond temporary fashion trends.

Frequently Asked Questions

What shaft options work with the Predator 10K Black?

The Predator 10K Black is compatible with five shaft options: REVO Carbon Pool Shaft (11.8mm, 12.4mm, or 12.9mm), Centro Hybrid Pool Shaft (12.4mm), 314-3 Spliced Maple Pool Shaft (12.75mm), Z-3 Spliced Maple Pool Shaft (11.85mm), and Vantage Spliced Maple Pool Shaft (12.9mm). Your choice depends on your preference for low-deflection carbon fiber technology versus traditional spliced maple construction.

Can I choose different tip hardness levels?

Yes. The Predator 10K Black accommodates seven tip options across two brands: Predator Victory (Hard, Medium, Soft) and Kamui Black (Hard, Medium, Soft, Super Soft). Your tip selection should match your stroke mechanics and the table conditions where you primarily play.

What does the Uni-Loc Quick-Release joint mean?

The Uni-Loc Quick-Release joint is the connection mechanism between the shaft and forearm. This pinning system allows you to quickly assemble and disassemble the cue for transport or storage while maintaining a secure connection during play. The joint provides consistent performance across repeated assembly cycles.

What makes the Leather Luxe wrap different from other wraps?

Leather Luxe is an extended leather wrap that covers your primary hand contact zone. Premium leather provides superior moisture management, maintains consistent grip texture, and delivers excellent tactile feedback. The extended coverage reduces hand fatigue during longer playing sessions compared to shorter wrap designs.

How do I decide between weight options?

The Predator 10K Black is available in 18.5 oz, 19 oz, 19.5 oz, and 20 oz. Lighter weights (18.5-19 oz) suit players with faster stroke tempos and higher cue speed preferences. Heavier options (19.5-20 oz) provide additional momentum for aggressive shot execution. Consider your natural stroke speed and strength when selecting.

Is the black painted forearm durable?

The black painted forearm with golden metal and ivorine rings is designed for durability and ease of maintenance. The metalwork protects wood at high-stress connection points. Regular light cleaning with a soft cloth keeps the finish looking new. Avoid excessive moisture exposure that could affect the paint finish.

Can I change the tip or shaft later?

The Uni-Loc Quick-Release joint allows you to change shafts. Tip replacement can be performed by professional cue repair services. Consider your long-term preferences when making initial selections, but you have flexibility to modify your cue as your game develops.
